About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and execution of policy documents, renewals, and day-to-day servicing requests
  • Act as the primary contact for administrative tasks related to clients’ policies
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients
  • Monitor client questions and provide recommendations with the Account Management Team on coverage changes and contractual requirements
  • Identify, research, and resolve routine or basic client issues
  • Maintain accurate client files and proper documentation and communication according to company workflows and procedures
  • Maintain accuracy in document management systems
  • Assist with remarketing renewals and prepare proposals as directed by the Account Manager
  • Review carrier policies for accuracy, expedite corrections, and handle endorsements and applications
  • Ensure carriers respond promptly to expedite claim settlements
  • Review policy audits, verify accuracy, and coordinate corrections between clients and carriers
  • Communicate significant audit differences to clients
  • Review cancellation requests, identify reasons, and attempt to retain client accounts while protecting the company’s financial interests
  • Keep current with industry trends, products, legislation, coverage, and technology
  • Adopt innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process
  • Perform special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or a must in some locations
  • In-depth understanding of personal lines of coverage
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to understand written and oral communications and interpret information written within policies
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word, agency management systems software, and online rating systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel to client sites
  • Reliable source of transportation
  • Associate in insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation preferred
  • Four-year degree preferred
