About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate stop-loss new business and renewal opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activities, and status updates
  • Track deliverables, follow-up activities, deadlines, and next steps
  • Prepare, review, and assemble proposals, renewal packages, presentations, and related sales materials
  • Coordinate communication among sales, underwriting, implementation, carrier, and client stakeholders
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, presentations, carrier discussions, and other sales-related activities
  • Document action items and follow-up requirements
  • Maintain sales documentation, proposal history, carrier information, underwriting correspondence, and business records
  • Monitor outstanding tasks and deliverables and follow up with stakeholders
  • Support prospecting initiatives through research, data management, and business development coordination
  • Assist with onboarding coordination for new clients
  • Use CRM tools and business systems to improve efficiency and data accuracy
  • Perform other assigned projects, duties, and tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or four-year degree in business, communications, marketing, insurance or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, business coordination, client service, insurance operations, account management support, or related business environment
  • Experience supporting sales, employee benefits, stop-loss, insurance brokerage, underwriting, third-party administrator (TPA), or related business operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and follow-up activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience working with CRM, workflow management, or other business systems, or demonstrated ability to learn new technology platforms quickly
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and business functions
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information
