About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide visuals and scene layouts for Osmosis video scripts
- Illustrate an average of 3 videos per month, depending on series difficulty
- Create illustrations from scripts across varied video content pipelines using illustration software
- Create scenes by adding essential text and incorporating illustrations within After Effects
- Review work for errors
- Incorporate feedback to improve style, tone, voice, and scientific accuracy
- Follow workflow standards and file archival protocols within SharePoint
- Attend meetings and proactively communicate project statuses and challenges
- Assist with external partner projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong scientific background, preferably with an emphasis on physiologic and biologic principles and mechanisms, demonstrated by earning or pursuing a degree in a healthcare or biomedical field
- Exceptional drawing abilities demonstrated with a portfolio and satisfactory completion of a sample project
- Experience with graphic software, including photo- and video-editing software
- Experience with a drawing tablet
- Proficient project management and ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks
- Developed problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to assist with external partner projects
- Proactive approach to anticipating challenges, solving problems, and improving project processes
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to execute with urgency
- Demonstrated alignment with Osmosis values
- Ability to work as a remote independent full-time employee
