About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage a portfolio of insurance carrier accounts within an assigned territory
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with customer business objectives and LexisNexis solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
  • Achieve revenue growth through account retention, cross-sell, upsell, and new solution adoption
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with customers
  • Coordinate internal resources across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Executive Leadership
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, regulatory changes, and customer priorities
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast within Salesforce
  • Provide market feedback influencing product and go-to-market strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or insurance industry relationship management
  • Proven success managing complex customer relationships and enterprise-level accounts
  • Experience presenting to executive and senior leadership audiences
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities across a large territory
  • Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of underwriting, claims, policy administration, quoting, fraud, or other insurance disciplines
  • Experience developing and executing strategic account plans
  • Familiarity with consultative or solution-based sales methodologies
