About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee a portfolio of journals in the energy and earth sciences
- Provide project oversight for select team initiatives and projects
- Maintain superior performance of journal titles while supporting accelerated content growth
- Manage new editor appointments and ensure diverse, dynamic editorial structures
- Engage customers through relationship management and regular communication
- Share customer insights to improve products and services
- Improve journal brand visibility and visibility of company tools and services through outreach and competitive awareness
- Champion select team initiatives, follow up on actions and recommendations, and ensure engagement and delivery
- Collaborate with colleagues on projects and team goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent English speaker with proven communication skills
- Minimum education to degree level
- Educational background in a related field is desirable but not mandatory
- 5+ years of work experience in publishing preferred
- Pro-active, good negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability to work efficiently and productively with colleagues and customers at various levels, locations, and cultures
- Ability to be a role model for others
- Can-do attitude and team-oriented approach
