About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with Product, UX designers, engineers, and other teams to develop client-side applications
- Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using React and Node.js
- Integrate client-side and server-side components to deliver responsive, scalable, and secure web applications
- Develop user interfaces for a large web monolith and small to moderate micro-frontends and services
- Maintain accessibility, performance, and usability standards
- Implement and optimize UI components aligned with enterprise design systems and technical standards
- Lead applications through the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and system design to deployment and maintenance
- Ensure high-quality releases through continuous integration, code reviews, and automated testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current frontend and backend skills in both React and Node; only candidates with this skill set will be considered
- Experience working on moderate to large web monoliths
- Experience taking applications through the full project life cycle
- Extensive experience utilizing the Agile delivery process for software development
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical professionals
- Understanding of crucial applications/products in the Science, Medicine, and Education business verticals
