About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple application layers
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Build, deploy, and support applications in cloud-native environments
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related automation technologies
- Deploy and troubleshoot workloads running on Kubernetes
- Support Azure-based infrastructure and services
- Improve deployment automation, observability, and operational efficiency with platform and infrastructure teams
- Participate in root cause analysis and remediation of production incidents
- Leverage AI-powered development tools, agents, and automation frameworks
- Build intelligent automation solutions and use AI-assisted troubleshooting
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and champion responsible AI adoption
- Analyze CVEs, assess risks, develop remediation plans, and support security initiatives across Linux and Windows environments
- Implement secure coding practices and participate in security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
- Operate autonomously, own complex technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and advance cloud and security capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and system design patterns
- Experience designing and building scalable enterprise applications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and deployment practices
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments
- Experience using Azure cloud services
- Experience creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar technologies
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools, agents, and automation platforms to improve software delivery and operational outcomes
- Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security concepts
- Experience analyzing CVEs, performing risk assessments, and driving remediation activities
- Experience supporting applications running on both Linux and Windows environments
- Practical development experience using C#/.NET preferred
- Practical development experience using Laravel/PHP preferred
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation preferred
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions preferred
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices preferred
- Experience working in highly regulated or security-sensitive environments preferred
- Relevant cloud or security certifications preferred
