About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Represent the journal at conferences and public forums, promoting its impact and engaging with the wider scientific community
  • Execute AI- and data-driven innovations and experiments to meet the evolving needs of the journal community
  • Support authors to optimize overall publishing success
  • Develop the best review articles spanning the life and medical sciences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD with a focus on research in life or medical sciences
  • Post-doctoral training is a plus
  • Prior editorial or developmental editing experience is highly recommended
  • Genuine passion for science and scientific communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to time management and organization
  • Ability to work both in a team dynamic and independently, impartially, and proactively
  • Can-do attitude accompanied by a strategic mindset and solution-oriented approach
  • English CV and English cover letter required
  • Right to work in China required
