About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for Python-based applications and services
- Ensure software meets defined quality standards and functional requirements
- Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios
- Perform test execution and document defects
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to support timely defect resolution
- Maintain test documentation
- Contribute to test plans and regression suites
- Participate in code and design reviews from a QA perspective
- Continuously improve testing processes and coverage
- Communicate test results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Follow established QA methodologies and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in QA and automation testing
- Good knowledge of Python
- Pytest is mandatory
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of test cases, test plans, test strategies, and test reporting
- Good exposure to testing APIs and web applications
- Sound knowledge of REST API
- Awareness of SDLC/STLC processes
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of AWS/Jira tools is good to have
- Experience working in the healthcare or pharma domain is good to have
- Exposure to LLM applications is good to have
