About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the lead technical interface for customers, supporting Renesas MCU, MPU, and Connectivity products
  • Partner with Sales to define and implement sales strategy for embedded processing products at assigned accounts from discovery through production
  • Determine customer requirements and recommend products, solutions, and services for end-user applications
  • Develop new business by collecting customer feedback and market trends to identify product and solution opportunities
  • Manage and drive issue escalations with internal engineering teams for rapid, high-quality resolution
  • Provide clear, actionable program updates to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with Product Line, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to provide customer-driven feedback and influence future roadmaps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience with ARM and/or proprietary MCU-based embedded processing design
  • Strong proficiency in embedded processor project design and debugging using development tools for RTOS and Linux-based embedded systems
  • Good understanding of hardware design and schematics related to MCU
  • Ability to interface directly with customers on complex technical topics, supporting design engineers through project discovery, part selection, solution implementation, and production
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to translate complex technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Experience with Renesas MCU/MPU products or similar semiconductor products preferred
  • Experience with wireless connectivity products supporting BLE, Wi-Fi, and NFC preferred
  • Experience in embedded AI/ML applications preferred
  • Must be local to the Boston/New England area
  • U.S. export-control requirements may apply to certain persons
