Steward the architecture, technical direction, and long-term health of web systems
Identify and drive high-impact work improving products, reliability, and engineering effectiveness
Make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing scalability with current customer value
Lead by example in AI-first engineering and establish effective workflows and quality safeguards
Mentor and develop engineers, distributing technical ownership and raising team capabilities
Collaborate across engineering specialties, product, and other departments to deliver cohesive customer experiences
Build web applications and services for accounts, commerce, licensing, entitlements, and customer-facing experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced engineer who has shaped architecture and technical direction for significant production systems
Hands-on engineering experience using AI extensively and critically evaluating its output
Strong backend, distributed-systems, and modern web application fundamentals
Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies, languages, and approaches quickly
Pragmatic evaluation of speed, maintainability, security, and long-term system health
Experience with PHP/Laravel, React, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Cloudflare, or comparable technologies
Experience with commerce, billing, identity, licensing, entitlements, or APIs serving desktop applications
Experience modernizing mature systems, improving developer workflows, or implementing AI-assisted development practices
Familiarity with Renewed Vision products or live-production workflows is a meaningful advantage
