About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Component Engineering Manager and wider Component Engineering team
  • Work with Component Engineers to maintain a high-level service
  • Support divisions with help and advice on the Teamcenter PLM system
  • Maintain and update Teamcenter compliance documents, including technical specifications and RoHS and REACH material specifications
  • Support Product Safety and project teams with pragmatic, clear, and consistent guidance
  • Enter and maintain data in systems supporting Component Engineering teams
  • Support the CE Team and wider Product Safety team
  • Support timely delivery of reports and communications
  • Support development of applicable procedures
  • Maintain consistent part number classification
  • Liaise with divisions and Product Safety to support Component Engineering activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good level of education: GCSE A-C passes in English and Mathematics or suitable experience
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
  • Keenness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload while working in a team
  • Good PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Some engineering knowledge desirable
  • Experience in the use of database systems desirable
  • Understanding of quality systems desirable
  • Methodical approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to document and clearly communicate knowledge and findings
  • Self-motivated with ability to focus on a range of small and large tasks
