Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a direct thought partner and proxy for Replit’s President
Elevate operational insights and synthesize briefings for high-stakes technical and organizational decisions
Represent the President when needed
Anticipate blind spots and resolve organizational bottlenecks before escalation
Bridge Engineering, Product, Support, and AI teams to enable high-cadence execution
Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives without a clear functional home
Address product unit economics, developer tooling infrastructure shifts, pricing models, and technical re-architectures
Build and deploy AI agents, automation pipelines, and modern operational workflows
Automate status synthesis, metrics tracking, scenario modeling, and operational monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ Years in High-Growth Tech
Proven track record in strategy, operations, product operations, or technical chief of staff roles
Extensive experience working closely with Engineering and Product leadership
Strong technical fluency to earn the respect of Staff/Principal Engineers and AI researchers
Operational empathy to partner effectively with Support and People teams
Ability to define clean problem boundaries and drive ill-defined problems to resolution without formal line authority
Deep comfort evaluating unit economics, interrogating technical systems data, building scenario models, and separating actionable signal from noise
Direct, concise executive-ready communication
Hands-on experience leveraging LLM workflows, coding agents, and automation frameworks
Ability to work in-person at least three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in Foster City, CA
Experience navigating rapid organizational scaling while maintaining high cultural and engineering standards
Prior experience in developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI coding assistants, or developer-focused software ecosystems (nice-to-have)
