About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide ongoing production support for SAP Finance, including reviewing, troubleshooting, prioritizing, and resolving incidents, support tickets, and service requests
- Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring problems
- Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain SAP FI functionality, including integration points with other SAP modules and cross-functional business processes
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements, assess processes, and recommend solutions and system improvements
- Lead functional enhancements from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment
- Prepare documentation, communicate issue-resolution progress and enhancement status, and provide knowledge transfer to clients and fellow consultants
- Support system improvements and collaborate with technical teams and cross-functional SAP consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree
- Travel up to 20%
- 5+ years of SAP Finance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting business processes
- Hands-on expertise in SAP FI configuration and functionality
- Experience providing production support, managing support tickets, performing root cause analysis, and resolving functional and technical issues
- Experience with SAP FI integration across other functional modules
- Ability to troubleshoot cross-functional business processes
- Experience delivering functional enhancements across requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including standard Fiori applications
- Knowledge of AI tools, Machine Learning, and Big Data a plus
- Knowledge of interfaced tools such as tax automation, vendor invoice management (VIM), and compliance SaaS products
- SAP Costing experience
- International project or SAP configuration experience in NAFTA, LATAM and/or EMEA, including relevant tax and financial-legislation localization topics
- Knowledge of financial reporting related to SOX compliance and public companies
- S/4 Public and/or Private Cloud certification preferred
