About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to and resolve support tickets promptly, minimizing operational impact
- Access and manage databases for queries, script execution, and troubleshooting
- Unblock and manage process queues
- Analyze source code to identify issues and resolve root causes
- Automate processes and resolve support tickets to optimize workflows
- Provide support for systems developed in Java, Node.js, and Python
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure service continuity
- Maintain and improve monitoring and support scripts
- Diagnose and resolve issues, including implementing workarounds
- Propose solutions to optimize resources, reduce computational costs, and improve performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in Level 3 (L3) support or a similar role
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, and Kotlin
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms offering similar services, including BigQuery, Spanner, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Storage
- Advanced knowledge of cloud computing resources, with the ability to architect and optimize existing architectures
- Experience processing large volumes of data
- Experience creating, modifying, and using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices
- Experience working with and querying databases using SQL
- Experience with Redis, Grafana, and Airflow
- Ability to run scripts and automate processes to resolve support tickets
- Ability to read and analyze code to identify failures and bugs
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and organized, with a focus on results and efficiency
- Preferred: experience working in the financial market infrastructure sector
- Preferred: ability to work in agile and collaborative environments
