About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement software quality assurance procedures, focusing on code quality
- Use and manage SonarQube for continuous code quality analysis
- Integrate SonarQube into the DevOps pipeline
- Guide and train developers and quality engineers on code quality practices and the use of SonarQube
- Conduct audits and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve bugs and defects
- Develop action plans to address quality issues and improve processes
- Monitor and report on code quality metrics and SonarQube performance
- Support the continuous improvement of application quality and promote best practices across development teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience in software quality, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with DevOps, static code analysis, test automation, and the integration of quality tools
- Proficiency in SonarQube configuration and management
- Experience integrating SonarQube with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
- In-depth knowledge of clean coding practices and code quality standards
- Experience with static code analysis tools
- Ability to identify and resolve architecture, design, and code complexity issues
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of test automation and continuous deployment
- Ability to configure and maintain automated workflows
- Ability to train and mentor developers and quality engineers
- Ability to create and conduct workshops and training sessions
- Familiarity with Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Knowledge of Git
- Knowledge of unit testing tools such as JUnit
- Experience with Selenium, RestAssured, and other QA and test automation tools
