About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate enhancement, support and ongoing development of Loan Level Data and Insurance Data products
- Enhance Power BI dashboards and analytical reporting products
- Develop statistical tables and web-based reporting outputs
- Produce data quality monitoring and reporting solutions
- Support analytical models and prototypes using Python and/or R
- Support adoption and use of products across supervision, financial stability, research and policy functions
- Establish and share good practice for sustainable data product development
- Work with stakeholders across the Bank to identify improvements, prioritise enhancements and develop accessible data products
Requirements
What you’ll need- A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, statistics, data science or a related discipline
- At least six years' relevant experience in statistics, analytics, data management or a financial institution
- Proven experience designing, developing and enhancing data products that meet ongoing user needs
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with data platforms and tools such as Azure, Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Power BI, Python or R
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, modelling, analytics, reporting and data visualisation practices
- Sound judgement and strategic thinking across a broad range of issues
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with ability to manage competing demands
