About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support implementation of the Deposit Takers Act
  • Work with the Manager Licensing & Authorisations and Advisers in Licensing & Authorisations to develop products and outputs required to establish a new licensing capability
  • Identify and analyse business processes and workflows to find new ways of licensing regulated entities and areas for improvement
  • Develop and document business requirements for projects and operational process improvement activities
  • Proactively identify and report risks and issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Broad-based experience in a bank, insurer, other financial institution or supervisory authority is preferred
  • Understanding of legal, accounting and economic environments within financial institutions is ideal
  • Experience in continuous improvement, business analysis and/or project management
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and regulatory decision-making
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and conceptual skills
  • Creative thinking
