Key responsibilities & impact

Own problems and determine whether work is worth building
Build and maintain reliable, maintainable back-end services in Python using FastAPI and Pydantic
Design and automate workflows involving document processing, email handling, third-party API integrations, and OCR
Use tools such as n8n, LangChain, MCP, and similar technologies
Build front-end dashboards, internal tools, and chat experiences using React
Own deployment and monitoring end-to-end
Work across back-end services, front-end dashboards, automations, and AI pipelines
Own features from problem understanding and solution scoping through deployment and iteration
Collaborate with accountants, advisors, and small business owners to understand their needs and develop effective solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid production experience with Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, Pandas) or Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript (React and Next)
Experience shipping production software used by real users
Comfortable owning both front-end and back-end development
Experience with deployment, infrastructure, and monitoring
Strong product instinct focused on users and outcomes
Intellectual honesty and willingness to challenge bad ideas
Comfortable working with ambiguity and independently taking vague problems to shipped solutions
