About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide front-line customer service support to Compliance customers
  • Process insurance regulatory compliance, licensing, client intake, and/or sales support tasks
  • Handle customer inquiries via inbound/outbound phone calls, email, and/or chat
  • Answer questions and complete tasks or processes for customers
  • De-escalate frustrated customer situations and find solutions
  • Gather and verify client information
  • Input information into Compliance and State web-based systems and forms
  • Complete related reports and track work in established databases
  • Maintain accurate records and organized documentation
  • Support database updates and follow up on outstanding items
  • Meet deadlines accurately and escalate problems to senior team members or management
  • Collaborate with co-workers and supervisors to meet client needs and team goals
  • Identify process improvements supporting clients and insurance regulatory compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to convey information to clients and effectively de-escalate customer frustrations
  • Commitment to supporting other team members
  • Process-focused and detail-oriented, with accurate documentation
