About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build scalable data migration, pipeline, and integration workflows for analytics and operational use cases
Develop and maintain curated datasets, semantic models, and reusable data assets for reporting and analytics
Evolve the modern data platform, including lakehouse environments and ingestion frameworks
Establish best practices for performance and reliability
Lead delivery of dashboards, data products, and self-service analytics
Partner with product, platform, and domain experts to deliver end-to-end data solutions using insurance industry context
Foster collaboration across data engineering, analytics, and platform teams
Impact client outcomes and ReSource Pro’s data modernization services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Deep P&C insurance experience in policy, claims, billing, or underwriting, including familiarity with carrier data models
10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data platform development, or analytics engineering, including production operations and ownership of difficult technical problems
Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, data integration workflows, and ETL/ELT processes
Experience with cloud-native data platforms, including medallion and lakehouse architectures; Azure preferred, Microsoft Fabric a plus, AWS acceptable
Proven experience developing curated datasets, data models, and semantic layers for analytics and reporting
Experience enabling dashboards, reporting, and data products for analytics use cases
Demonstrated ability to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines and datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Ability to travel up to 30%, domestic
Technological proficiency and ability to learn, utilize, and navigate a variety of external and internal systems
PMP/SAFe, CPCU/AINS, CDMP, or cloud provider certifications are preferred, not required
