About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the central interface between Design, Purchasing, Production, and international suppliers
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor development, sampling, production, and delivery schedules
  • Manage and communicate with international manufacturers and suppliers
  • Ensure complete product and production documentation, including tech packs, measurement charts, technical sketches, and material specifications
  • Coordinate and support fittings, aligning on necessary adjustments to fit, patterns, and construction
  • Review and approve proto, fit, SMS, and production samples while ensuring quality standards
  • Oversee ongoing production and proactively resolve quality, scheduling, or production issues
  • Attend international trade shows, production trips, and supplier meetings
  • Manage the product development process from the initial concept through sampling and optimization to final production
  • Coordinate international manufacturers and suppliers and monitor quality, timelines, and product requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in Fashion Management, Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Fashion Business, or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in product management, product development, or garment technology within the fashion or textile industry
  • In-depth understanding of the entire product development and production process, as well as fit, pattern making, construction, and materials
  • Experience working with international manufacturers and suppliers
  • Strong awareness of quality, costs, and deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple development processes in parallel
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Business-fluent German and very good English skills
  • Structured, independent, and solutions-oriented approach, combined with strong communication skills, decisiveness, and a hands-on mentality
