About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform PPSA searches, registrations, amendments, and discharges
  • Prepare all client contracts and agreements
  • Create and maintain organized, up-to-date client files
  • Perform due diligence on client files and accounts
  • Prepare and execute Subordination Agreements
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to prepare legal contractual documents
  • Prepare and execute payoffs with other lenders
  • Communicate daily with the sales team regarding file status
  • Monitor file progress and follow up on outstanding tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a related legal support role
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology
  • Proficiency in legal research
  • Ability to draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence accurately
  • Ability to work professionally with a wide range of individuals and take instructions from Senior Analysts
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, dynamic environment and manage multiple changing priorities
  • Track record of being a team player and interacting professionally across all organizational levels
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
