About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Corporate FP&A process, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis
  • Align financial plans with enterprise strategy, performance objectives, and success measures
  • Provide leadership visibility into business drivers, performance trends, corporate-level KPIs, operating expenses, and cost trends
  • Develop executive analyses, reporting packages, financial presentations, and decision-ready materials
  • Lead enterprise analytics integrating financial and operational data
  • Partner with Portfolio FP&A and Asset Management to align corporate plans with asset-level strategies
  • Partner with Technology on financial systems design, dashboards, and enterprise reporting
  • Introduce automation and simplification opportunities
  • Support treasury and debt capital market activities and reporting related to the real estate debt portfolio
  • Support risk management, insurance strategy, compliance, income tax, and corporate revenue initiatives
  • Strengthen internal process documentation, corporate finance policies, and document management practices
  • Report to Perform Properties’ Head of Finance and support all areas of the finance department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting and finance
  • Experience in the office and/or retail sector preferred
  • Strong FP&A foundation with proven ability to own forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and financial storytelling
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic vendor or partnership relationships that materially impact cost structure and/or operations
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related applicable field of study required
  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to independently assess priorities and drive work to completion
  • Strong executive presence and ability to translate financial details into clear insights and recommendations
