About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide coaching, care coordination, referral, and appointing services to clients enrolled in the VA Caregiver Legal and Financial program
Deliver services via phone, text, video, and a case management system
Assess participating clients’ needs to develop personal plans involving legal information and benefits navigation
Track, monitor, and document coaching sessions and related services in the case management system
Take dictation for legal forms
Provide web-assisted audio or video coaching using motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and related skills
Help clients develop personal goal plans and identify action steps
Connect clients with appropriate resources and make necessary referrals
Complete ongoing training as required by the customer and Revelations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Paralegal experience, JD, or similar degree from accredited program
Strong understanding of legal and financial terminology
Ability to provide services via phone, text, video, and case management system
Ability to use motivational interviewing and solution-focused techniques
Ability to assess client needs and develop personal plans
Ability to track, monitor, and document coaching sessions and related services
Ability to take dictation for legal forms
Ability to complete ongoing training as required by the customer and Revelations
Ability to sit continually and utilize hand and finger dexterity
Ability to communicate verbally and use visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard
Ability to manage concentration, record keeping, independent judgment, organization, prioritization, and multiple projects/tasks
