About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain manual and automated tests for UI and API services
Support manual functional testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression scenarios
Build testing infrastructure, reusable utilities, and internal frameworks
Collaborate with development teams to understand features, edge cases, and validation needs
Help define test strategies and identify high-value manual and automation scenarios
Execute automated and manual test suites across Dev, QA, and Prod environments
Analyze failures, identify patterns, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
Support integration of automation into Jenkins pipelines and cloud-based build systems
Explore and adopt AI-assisted automation and Agentic AI workflows
Maintain test data, environment configurations, and test-suite documentation
Work with onsite and offshore teams across overlapping time zones

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with manual testing and test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
Hands-on experience with UI and API manual and automation testing principles
Working experience with REST API validation using Postman, Python requests, Pytest, or equivalent
Familiarity with CI/CD environments, preferably Jenkins
Good understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes concepts
Ability to write clean, maintainable test code in Python, JavaScript, or equivalent
Experience testing SaaS applications
Ability to collaborate across geographies and time zones
Experience with AI-driven automation, prompt-driven validation, or agent-based workflows (nice to have)
Exposure to cloud infrastructure or Kubernetes-based applications (nice to have)
Experience with Terraform or Ansible (nice to have)
Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or JMeter (nice to have)
Understanding of Git workflows and Agile development practices (nice to have)
