About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Explore how RevenueCat can help developers acquire more of the right users
- Define the strategy and products for RevenueCat’s broader user acquisition offering
- Understand how app developers acquire users and identify meaningful problems to solve
- Turn customer and market insights into products to test, ship, and scale
- Evaluate opportunities across attribution, measurement, acquisition channels, monetization-data optimization, partnerships, and advertising infrastructure
- Report directly to the product lead for Ads
- Conduct developer research and understand acquisition performance pain points
- Build relationships with engineering, design, data, go-to-market, and product teams
- Form and validate product hypotheses through prototypes, design partners, technical exploration, and experiments
- Recommend initial focus areas and establish a learning agenda
- Align senior stakeholders on product tests, priorities, and evidence
- Ship substantive user acquisition product bets or generate evidence to stop or change them
- Drive product discovery, prioritization, and execution independently
- Establish strategic direction, roadmap, and differentiated product opportunities
- Serve as primary individual-contributor product owner and internal domain expert for User Acquisition
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience owning meaningful product or growth decisions end-to-end
- Deep, hands-on experience with mobile user acquisition, either directly managing and optimizing acquisition for mobile apps or building products and infrastructure used by mobile acquisition teams
- Understanding of how app developers acquire users, measure performance, and decide where to spend their next dollar
- Knowledge of the modern mobile acquisition stack, including MMPs and attribution, Apple Ads, Meta and Google advertising products, conversion APIs, and related measurement infrastructure
- Ability to reason about attribution, performance-marketing economics, and privacy
- Understanding of CAC, LTV, ROAS, optimization signals, ATT, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, consent management, and downstream behavior in acquisition decisions
- Ability to work in zero-to-one environments and turn ambiguous opportunities into product bets and experiments
- Sufficient technical proficiency to work with engineering on integrations, APIs, SDKs, data flows, identity, attribution, and technical product decisions
- Clear communication across different audiences and media, particularly in writing
