Develop new features for backend applications, ensuring quality and adherence to the team’s standards
Improve the performance, stability, and security of existing applications
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities by applying OWASP best practices and standards
Collaborate with product and business teams to refine and estimate technical requirements
Document solutions, technical decisions, and enhancements implemented in the applications
Participate in code reviews, contributing to the quality and standardization of the team’s code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience with Java (version 21+), Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA
Required experience with Hibernate as an object-relational mapping (ORM) framework
Experience developing new features for backend applications in production
Experience with application security, including authentication, authorization, and OWASP best practices
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server), including query optimization and performance tuning
Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and stability issues in existing applications
Experience with monitoring and observability tools, specifically Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
Experience with Git for source control
Technical degree or bachelor’s degree
