About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the product management team
- Partner with product leadership and lead product managers to translate priorities into team capacity and ownership
- Build and run the planning and delivery cadence aligned with company priorities
- Establish standards for specs, QA, definition of done, releases, and outcome tracking
- Track expected and actual outcomes at team and feature level and use insights to improve product decisions
- Lead routing and resolution of production issues, escalations, and urgent requests
- Improve planning, delivery, support, and communication systems through processes, tooling, and automation
- Operate as a player-coach and contribute hands-on when needed
- Represent product in company-wide planning and communication
- Build relationships across engineering, design, go-to-market, customer success, and company leadership
- Hire, coach, and develop product managers against a leveling framework
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years in product management or product operations, including 4+ years of experience directly managing a team of product managers
- Experience building or improving how a product organization plans, delivers, and tracks outcomes, ideally at a fast-growing company
- Comfortable owning a support or escalation process alongside planning work
- Track record hiring, coaching, and leveling product managers
- Strong analytical instincts; comfortable working directly with data and dashboards
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to represent product credibly with engineering, go-to-market, and company leadership
- Experience in ad tech or complex B2B workflow products is a plus, not required
