About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver Databricks training across Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning, and GenAI, primarily virtually and in English
Guide learners through complex technical concepts in a structured, clear, and approachable manner
Coordinate training schedules and prepare training materials
Manage training Slack channels and last-minute operational requests
Collaborate with instructors and Databricks to strengthen the training program and maintain delivery standards
Identify inefficiencies and implement improved training processes
Grow virtual training capacity while maintaining consistency and quality
Own the training calendar, balance instructor workloads, prevent burnout, and optimize calendar utilization
Recruit, evaluate, onboard, and manage external technical contractors and freelance trainers
Partner with sales and account managers on technical pre-delivery scoping calls with enterprise clients
Initially spend approximately 70% of time on hands-on training delivery and 30% on team management, scheduling, and operational strategy
Progress toward management, strategic planning, operational leadership, and potentially full practice leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL
Comfortable troubleshooting, modifying, and live-coding data pipelines and analytical workflows
Demonstrable ability or strong aptitude to manage people, delegate tasks, supervise technical contractors, and scale a delivery team
Structured and organized approach to calendars, logistics, and multi-instructor schedules
Ability to conduct technical pre-delivery scoping calls with enterprise clients
Clear, energetic, and empathetic presentation skills
Ability to engage learners across multi-day bootcamps and handle challenging technical questions patiently
Professional English proficiency, written and spoken
Willingness to travel up to approximately 20% of the time, primarily within the EU
Willingness to learn Databricks, obtain certification, and ramp up before delivering the first training
Candidates must already hold the right to work in Czechia or elsewhere in the EU, or be open to relocating
