About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver engaging Databricks training across Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning, and GenAI, primarily virtually and in English
Guide learners through complex technical concepts and adapt teaching style to group needs
Coordinate schedules, prepare materials, manage training Slack channels, and handle last-minute requests
Collaborate with instructors and Databricks to strengthen the training program and maintain delivery standards
Improve training organization by identifying inefficiencies and implementing better processes
Grow virtual training capacity while maintaining consistency and quality
Own the training calendar, balance instructor workloads, prevent burnout, and optimize utilization
Recruit, evaluate, onboard, and manage external technical contractors and freelance trainers
Partner with sales and account managers on technical pre-delivery scoping calls
Initially split time approximately 70% training delivery and 30% team management, scheduling, and operational strategy, with potential progression toward practice leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL
Comfortable troubleshooting, modifying, and live-coding data pipelines and analytical workflows
Demonstrable ability or strong aptitude to manage people, delegate tasks, supervise technical contractors, and scale a delivery team
Structured and organized mindset with confidence running calendars, managing logistics, and coordinating multi-instructor schedules under tight timelines
Ability to conduct technical pre-sales and scoping with enterprise clients
Clear, energetic, and empathetic presentation skills
Professional English proficiency, written and spoken
Willingness to travel up to approximately 20% of the time, primarily within the EU
Willingness or ability to learn Databricks; certification will be supported
Must already hold the right to work in Hungary or elsewhere in the EU
Ability to work in or relocate to the EU; no visa sponsorship available
