About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Map data needs across engineering, product, finance, sales, and operations
Evaluate current infrastructure and define a scalable data platform strategy across AWS and Azure
Integrate AirPro production data from SQL Server on Azure into Revv’s Snowflake data lake
Pressure-test and own the architecture, potentially involving Azure Synapse
Build clean, tested, and documented dbt models for Power BI and Hex
Integrate Salesforce and ERP data to standardize revenue and operating metrics
Establish data governance, quality, ownership, SOC 2, and international data handling practices
Help turn connected data into customer-facing products and improved experiences
Partner with analytics, finance, sales, product leadership, and engineering leadership
Report to the Head of Product Analytics with a dotted line to AirPro platform engineering leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 6+ years in data engineering, including ownership of platform-level design decisions
Deep, hands-on production experience with Snowflake and dbt
Strong Python and SQL
Working familiarity with the Azure data ecosystem, including SQL Server, Data Factory, Synapse, or similar
Sound architectural judgment across ingestion, orchestration, and modeling
Comfort with ambiguity and making progress without perfect information
Ability to document models, decisions, and strategy clearly
Experience partnering across functions and translating business questions into data requirements
Experience at a SaaS or software company
Legally authorized to work in the US
No automotive or insurance background required
