About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead HCP marketing strategy development and tactical execution for a rare disease product launch
- Support disease state education campaigns for pediatric endocrinologists and supporting healthcare professionals
- Support early brand development, including brand identity, product positioning, value proposition, core claims, and HCP messaging
- Lead HCP content development across disease state education and brand materials, ensuring legal, regulatory, and compliance alignment
- Partner with Sales and Commercial Training teams to develop tools and materials for field sales initiatives
- Build and deploy the Speaker Bureau, including business rules, content, derivative materials, and speaker training
- Build disease state education and promotional websites, including content, approvals, navigation, and digital KPIs
- Collaborate with Sales, Commercial Data & Analytics, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams
- Define HCP research objectives and stimuli to gain insights into the congenital hyperinsulinism market, pediatric endocrinologist behavior, treatment trends, and competitive landscape
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders, pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, and professional organizations
- Develop and track KPIs for HCP engagement and market traction
- Coordinate with the Promotional Review Committee to secure timely review and approval of promotional and educational materials
- Develop executive presentations translating insights into strategic marketing recommendations
- Oversee agency partner relationships, support marketing strategy, execute priority tactics, and manage launch-setting delivery
- Plan annual budgets, reconcile monthly, and reallocate resources as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in HCP marketing, or a related healthcare field, with at least 3 years in rare disease
- Strong U.S. product launch experience, with rare disease launch experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of regulatory constraints in healthcare marketing, including the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) approval process
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable marketing strategy
- Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time
- Experience in marketing therapeutics with a strong scientific / clinical acumen
- Previous experience building and managing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and partnering with advisors
- Strong executive presence
