About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide vision, leadership, strategy and management for Rezolute’s global clinical and commercial supply chain
Design, develop and implement the transition to an integrated global clinical and commercial supply chain
Oversee storage, labeling, packaging, Finished Drug Product, depots, 3PL operations and distribution channels
Own the S&OP process, FDP supply plan to global channels and ERP inventory management system
Lead the Clinical Supply team and own the Commercial Supply Chain Integrated Plan
Develop and maintain GMP- and SOX-compliant ERP inventory management with end-to-end visibility, lot traceability and financial control
Define final labels, artwork and product packaging configurations with Commercial and Regulatory teams
Lead supply chain launch readiness, including launch inventory, channel readiness, 3PL and distributor onboarding
Develop country-specific supply plans, packaging configurations and distribution models
Establish commercial distribution, specialty distribution and specialty pharmacy networks
Establish logistics and global trade compliance for temperature-regulated products
Implement serialization and track-and-trace platforms compliant with global regulations such as DSCSA and EU FMD
Identify and mitigate supply risks for clinical sites and global markets
Govern packaging, labeling, depot, 3PL and distribution partners
Lead provider onboarding, contracts and deliverable management
Support global submissions related to labeling, packaging and distribution
Build and develop a high-performance team across clinical supply, planning, labeling, packaging, distribution, logistics and trade compliance
Establish supply chain systems, procedures, work instructions and KPIs
Manage budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, inventory valuation, expiry, write-offs and Cost of Goods
Report supply chain performance to Technical Operations Leadership and Launch Teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in a related field is required; advanced degree or MBA preferred; APICS/ASCM certification a plus
15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech supply chain experience
5–7+ years in senior leadership with demonstrated executive experience at the Vice President or Executive Director level
Hands-on experience building a supply chain function, its systems, procedures and team in late-phase to commercial biotech
Commercial launch experience required, including accountability for commercial labeling and packaging, 3PL, specialty distribution and specialty pharmacy channels
Experience designing and leading an S&OP process from launch through commercial supply
Experience leading GMP- and SOX-compliant ERP inventory management system design and implementation; NetSuite preferred
Experience defining label, artwork and packaging configurations and supply models for multi-country market entry
Experience managing global clinical supply for pivotal studies, open label extension and EAP
Experience implementing serialization and global trade compliance for temperature-regulated biologics
Experience supporting ex-US launches through direct and partnered models in the EU and other regions
Experience working directly with Commercial Patient Services and hub providers on patient access
Position based in Redwood City, CA, with domestic and international travel up to 50%
