Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of rotary machines and their basic working principles
- Ability to collect vibration and temperature data for rotary machines, including pumps, fans, blowers, motors, and compressors
- Ability to perform vibration analysis and develop suitable action plans
- Ability to troubleshoot rotary machines and identify issues such as unbalance, misalignment, looseness, and cavitation using spectrum analysis
- Ability to perform dynamic balancing of fans and other rotary equipment
- Ability to perform thermography for motors and equipment bearings
- Ability to perform laser alignment for rotary equipment
- Ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules
