About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in defining the scope of the client project with regard to data
Contribute to the data migration strategy and the guiding principles for data transfer
Define enhancements to the migration staging area and specify the mapping of client data
Review and approve data extracted from the client
Take responsibility for loading data into the core software using the standard migration module
Consolidate migration execution reports and address exceptions with the client
Participate in project governance, risk management, progress monitoring, and schedule tracking
Analyze source data and integrate it into the software solution
Define migration rules, perform consistency checks, and participate in testing phases
Document migration rules, identify anomalies, and resolve issues
Contribute to securing and continuously improving migration processes
Collaborate with business, technical, and project teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in computer science or insurance
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of life insurance concepts, including savings, protection, and retirement products
Proficiency in querying Oracle databases and writing SQL queries
Knowledge of the software product lifecycle
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Good knowledge of Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) as well as Waterfall
Excellent spoken and written English and French
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Excellent communication skills with clients and a range of stakeholders
Strong written communication skills
High level of rigor in data processing and validation
Ability to work effectively in a team and quickly integrate into an organization
