About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and delivery of complex, high-profile events and live experience programmes
  • Translate client objectives into compelling, achievable event experiences
  • Provide senior event expertise from project inception through delivery
  • Establish event objectives, experience principles, priorities and success measures
  • Oversee event planning, logistics, guest experience, stakeholder requirements, schedules and onsite delivery
  • Provide senior onsite leadership and act as a key decision-maker and escalation point
  • Manage risks, dependencies and challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead post-event evaluation and translate learnings into improvements
  • Build and maintain senior-level client and stakeholder relationships
  • Lead senior client meetings, presentations, event reviews and decision-making sessions
  • Lead multidisciplinary event teams and mentor Event Managers, Event Executives and wider LEE team members
  • Support resource planning and team structuring
  • Take senior responsibility for event budgets, costs and commercial performance
  • Lead or support supplier negotiations
  • Contribute event expertise to pitches, proposals and new business opportunities
  • Identify repeatable event models and new commercial opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience leading complex events, live experiences, experiential programmes or a related agency environment
  • Proven experience managing large-scale or high-profile events from strategy and planning through to onsite delivery
  • Strong senior client and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent understanding of event strategy, experience design, logistics and onsite delivery
  • Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commercial understanding, including budgets, suppliers, scope and project profitability
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, workstreams and competing priorities
  • Strategic and commercially minded approach
  • Highly organised, calm and solutions-focused
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite as required
  • Experience within sports, F1, experiential or premium brand environments would be advantageous
