About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities
- Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force
- Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment
- Serve as a primary customer contact
- As an apprentice, work closely with a senior Technician to learn products and customers and develop skills to work independently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Entry-level position; prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Pre-employment drug test required
- Clean driving record required
- DOT physical required
