About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex revenue cycle management engagements from diagnostic assessment through implementation and sustained performance improvement
- Assess revenue cycle environments, identify performance gaps, quantify financial opportunities, establish priorities, and translate findings into executable initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Drive transformation across patient access, authorization, clinical documentation, coding, charge capture, revenue integrity, claims, billing, payment, remittance, accounts receivable, denials, reimbursement, and patient financial services
- Help clients improve cash conversion, working capital, net revenue realization, cost to collect, productivity, margin, liquidity, and EBITDA
- Advise clients on operating model transformation, shared services, vendor and outsourcing strategies, technology, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence
- Lead teams and client stakeholders through underperformance, rapid growth, M&A integration, payer disruption, technology implementations, vendor challenges, and liquidity constraints
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare executives and serve as a hands-on advisor throughout engagement delivery
- Identify broader client needs and collaborate across Riveron to bring additional capabilities and solutions to clients
- Develop and mentor team members while contributing to recruiting, knowledge development, thought leadership, and growth of Riveron's Healthcare & Life Sciences capabilities
- Support business development by strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing RCM expertise throughout the pursuit process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant progressive experience across healthcare revenue cycle and financial operations
- Meaningful leadership responsibility within a healthcare provider organization
- Deep end-to-end knowledge of professional and facility revenue cycles
- Consulting or advisory experience
- Demonstrated track record transforming complex or underperforming revenue cycle operations
- Experience with health systems, hospitals, physician enterprises, physician practice management organizations, ambulatory platforms, or other scaled healthcare delivery organizations
- Strong financial acumen, including liquidity, working capital, margin, EBITDA, and enterprise value
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and advising senior client stakeholders
- Ability to navigate technology, vendors, outsourced operations, and complex RCM environments
- Ability to build trusted client relationships and contribute to business and practice development
- Additional experience with private equity-backed or multi-site healthcare organizations, M&A integration, distressed or rapidly scaling environments, major EHR and practice-management platforms, outsourced RCM models, or technology-enabled transformation is particularly valuable
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
