About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead research and analysis on M&A tax advisory, transaction, and strategic issues
  • Lead engagement teams conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligence
  • Develop tax-efficient acquisition and divestment structures
  • Provide on-call tax-related transaction consulting services to clients
  • Deliver high-quality client projects on time and on budget
  • Oversee reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables
  • Plan and deliver project budgets and workstreams
  • Coach and provide performance feedback to junior team members
  • Foster a team-based working culture
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact and guide teams through engagement lifecycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Taxation
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in tax compliance and M&A advisory/consulting
  • Critical thinking and analytical rigor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Self-starter who identifies problems and solutions
  • Passion for developing client relationships and building new skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must answer whether employer sponsorship is needed for U.S. work authorization
