About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality clinical care consistent with Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
  • Maintain weekly patient sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare
  • Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule aligned with productivity expectations
  • Follow care model practices emphasizing continuity of care, frequent follow-up appointments, and calendar management
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy using modalities including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
  • Provide clinical support and counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
  • Coach patients managing ongoing health conditions and support positive behavior changes
  • Counsel patients and provide crisis intervention, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
  • Comply with clinical standards and complete timely, thorough session-note documentation
  • Promote a collaborative, co-learning work culture
  • Perform other related duties assigned by department and group leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Massachusetts State License (LCSW/MHC), or license-eligible / active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent)
  • Up to 2 years of post-licensure experience may qualify for candidates who are not independently licensed
  • Master's in Social Work or a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related graduate degree
  • At least one year of experience practicing psychotherapy; practicum clinical experience applies
  • Multi-disciplinary teamwork
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR platforms when applicable
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no work visa sponsorship
  • Primary residence must be in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Texas
  • Certifications in CBT, DBT, or EMDR are a plus
  • Additional language fluency is a plus
  • Experience or desire to work with couples is a plus
