About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality outpatient clinical care consistent with Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
  • Maintain weekly patient sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare
  • Maintain a consistent weekly schedule aligned with productivity expectations
  • Follow care-model practices emphasizing continuity of care, high-frequency follow-ups, and calendar management
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
  • Provide clinical support and counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
  • Coach patients on managing ongoing health conditions and making positive behavior changes
  • Counsel patients and provide crisis intervention, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
  • Comply with clinical standards and complete timely, thorough session documentation
  • Participate in a friendly, collaborative, co-learning work culture
  • Perform other related role and team duties as assigned
  • Report to the Director of Psychotherapy and Supervisors; no supervisees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active New Jersey State License (LCSW)
  • Master's in Social Work
  • At least one (1) year of experience practicing Psychotherapy
  • Proficient with diverse technology platforms and systems, including Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR platforms when applicable
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required
  • Must provide an approved-state primary residence: Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Texas
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship unavailable
  • Additional language fluency is a plus
  • Experience or desire to work with couples is a plus
  • Certifications in CBT, DBT, or EMDR are a plus
