About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new referral relationships and support ongoing relationships with established referring organizations
  • Represent Rivia Mind in the market and showcase applicable service offerings
  • Share market feedback on outreach messaging and identify new referral sources
  • Proactively identify, engage, and secure referrals through partner organizations
  • Travel within the assigned territory approximately 10 times per week for onsite drop-ins, meetings, and events
  • Conduct approximately 30 cold calls and 100 targeted emails per week
  • Participate in territory roadshows, networking events, or conferences approximately 3–4 times per quarter
  • Use data insights to identify referral opportunities and tailor sales messaging
  • Collaborate with Marketing on digital and print materials and outreach messaging
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM records for outreach, visits, relationships, referral processes, and strategic next steps
  • Provide outreach insights and feedback to inform strategy and team growth
  • Prepare reports on lead generation, conversion rates, engagement, outcomes, and territory goals
  • Map territories to identify hospital systems, primary care groups, colleges, and insurance networks
  • Maintain and nurture existing referral partner relationships through quarterly or monthly check-ins
  • Conduct onsite visits, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions
  • Coordinate with Operations to resolve referral-process and patient-experience issues
  • Provide weekly relationship updates and participate in company-wide and departmental meetings
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management peers and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, clinical field, or related discipline, OR 3–4 years of progressive experience in mental or healthcare, sales, referral relationship development, or healthcare business development
  • Two to four years of experience developing and maintaining relationships in an outreach-related role OR prior Sales/Business Development Representative experience
  • Eagerness to learn about behavioral healthcare and industry terminology
  • Experience finding prospective new referents, soliciting new business, and closing sales opportunities
  • Proven track record of cold calling, outbound sales, and CRM records management
  • Extensive experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on data attributes
  • Located within 25 miles of a major metropolis
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote and multi-location environment
  • Valid driver's license in good standing, acceptable auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Exposure to or interest in university counseling centers, B2B, and/or B2C conversions
  • Proficient with Google Suite; familiarity with Monday.com and EHR/EMR platforms when applicable
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude
  • Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
