About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and drive plans for software-impacting hardware changes and new software features for consumer and commercial vehicles
Influence company and program milestones to align with software schedules
Drive software-hardware integration and resolve challenging cross-domain dependencies
Build cross-functional relationships to support software integration and launch new vehicle variants
Prioritize and drive resolution of software issues during development
Manage verification test plans for new product variants
Provide progress updates to program teams, executive leadership, and stakeholders
Identify and mitigate risks to software delivery timelines and quality
Lead continuous process improvements in software development and program management
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other Technical Program Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field
6+ years of progressive Technical or Engineering Program Management experience
Strong track record in software delivery for complex, integrated software-hardware products at scale
Expertise in strategic development and production launch of new products with software/electrical hardware interdependencies
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
Ability to lead, align, and motivate diverse cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Deep practical mastery of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
Advanced proficiency in Jira and other program management tools
Previous software or hardware product development engineering experience preferred
Experience with OTA software update strategies and deployment preferred
Automotive industry experience preferred
