About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high-quality outpatient clinical care consistent with Rivia Mind’s culture and values
  • Maintain weekly patient sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare
  • Maintain a consistent weekly patient-care schedule and follow continuity-of-care and calendar-management practices
  • Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing
  • Provide clinical support and counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
  • Coach patients managing ongoing health conditions and support positive behavior changes
  • Counsel patients and provide crisis intervention, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
  • Comply with clinical standards and complete timely, thorough session-note documentation
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinical community and promote a supportive, co-learning work culture
  • Perform other related duties assigned by department and group leaders
  • Report to the Director of Psychotherapy and Supervisors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Massachusetts State License (LCSW/MHC), or license-eligible/active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent)
  • Master's in Social Work or a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related graduate degree
  • At least one (1) year of experience practicing Psychotherapy (Practicum clinical experience applies)
  • Completion of the required licensure examination is preferred where applicable
  • Additional language fluency is a plus
  • Experience or desire to work with Couples is a plus
  • Multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR platforms when applicable
  • Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is unavailable
