About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new referral relationships and support existing relationships with referring organizations
- Represent Rivia Mind in the market and showcase applicable service offerings
- Identify, engage, and secure new referrals through partner organizations
- Travel approximately 1–2 days per week within the assigned territory for onsite visits, meetings, and events
- Conduct cold calls, targeted email campaigns, and onsite promotional outreach
- Participate in territory roadshows, networking events, and conferences
- Use referral and patient-location data to identify opportunities and tailor sales messaging
- Collaborate with Marketing on digital and print materials and outreach messaging
- Maintain Salesforce CRM records of outreach, visits, relationships, referral processes, patient mix, and next steps
- Provide outreach insights and feedback to inform strategy
- Prepare reports on lead generation, conversion rates, engagement, and outcomes
- Map territories to identify hospital systems, primary care groups, colleges, and insurance networks
- Maintain communication with referral partners through quarterly or monthly check-ins
- Conduct onsite visits, address concerns, and coordinate with Operations on partner feedback
- Develop customized partnership strategies and expand referral relationships
- Provide weekly updates, participate in company-wide and departmental meetings, and collaborate with Relationship Management
- Report to the Director of Outreach & Partner Success; perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, clinical field, or related discipline, OR a minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in mental or healthcare, sales, referral relationship development, or healthcare business development
- Two to four years of experience developing and maintaining relationships in an outreach-related role OR prior Sales/Business Development Representative experience
- Eagerness to learn about behavioral healthcare and industry terminology
- Experience finding prospective new referents, soliciting new business, and closing sales opportunities
- Proven track record of cold calling, outbound sales, and CRM records management
- Extensive experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on data attributes
- Located within 25 miles of a major metropolis
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote and multi-location environment
- Valid driver's license in good standing, acceptable auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle for site visits and events
- Proficient with Google Suite and technology platforms such as Monday.com and EHR/EMR platforms when applicable
- Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship unavailable
