About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage desktop and web-based application software solutions purchased from third-party vendors
  • Provide integration and automation application design, analysis, implementation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and support services
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact internally across all RKL service lines
  • Engage vendor technical support as needed
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Manage application integration upgrade processes, including testing, scheduling and implementation
  • Design, develop and maintain secure application integrations supporting business operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features
  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
  • Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness
  • Identify and resolve application security vulnerabilities
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application integrations
  • Manage assigned system upgrades and maintenance; work with vendors to resolve issues
  • Draft and submit technical specifications and diagrams
  • Research applications and features; formulate recommendations and implementation plans
  • Resolve escalated end-user issues with Service Desk and software vendors
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, including Configuration Guides, Application Design Guides and Knowledge Base articles
  • Consult with the training team on associated end-user documentation
  • Perform other duties or special projects as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an application integrator
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Previous experience in software evaluation, implementation, integration, testing and deployment
  • Previous experience breaking down business processes into technology requirements
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Good judgment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Preferred: Experience with IT task and report automation using tools such as PowerShell scripts
  • Preferred: Experience supporting API development tools and products
  • Preferred: Proficiency in tools commonly used in AI and bot development
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud (SaaS) services
  • Preferred: Ability to write SQL statements with some complexity
