About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support client projects and initiatives, including outsourced HR support, employee handbooks, job descriptions, recruiting, compensation, employee engagement, HRIS implementation, and HR audits
  • Create, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Support client employee relations issues, performance management, and progressive discipline
  • Help design, develop, and deliver training programs for client organizations
  • Support client recruitment processes, including job analysis, job description and posting development, pre-screening, and interviewing
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially and take on additional responsibilities to support client needs
  • Communicate updates, issues, and concerns to client PICs, RKL partners, leadership, team members, and clients
  • Participate in client discovery sessions and gather information on client requirements and expectations
  • Collaborate on developing and presenting client proposals
  • Contribute to business growth through client service, conferences, networking events, community involvement, and identifying new opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 year of HR experience, preferably in a consultancy or outsourced HR services environment
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, communication, or business is preferred
  • Broad knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, and performance management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management, prioritization, multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on HR regulations, best practices, and industry trends
  • Problem-solving and innovative solution development skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and payroll software, and multimedia training platforms
  • Ability to travel to and from client meetings or on-site trainings
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings or training sessions, potentially involving travel and overnight stays
  • Ability to work outside standard business hours when needed
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, or reach
  • Must communicate effectively with clients and team members in person, by phone, and electronically
