About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a two-year development program delivering investment management and financial planning services
  • Conduct client portfolio reviews and analyses to support investment recommendations
  • Review client accounts with Wealth Advisors, propose trades, and track target allocations
  • Research and analyze global financial markets, asset classes, and individual securities
  • Review, create, and execute trade orders supporting portfolio management and trading operations
  • Collaborate with the Planning team to create and review financial plans for clients
  • Provide reporting and data to management, team members, and other departments
  • Create historical reporting related to Wealth Management team calls and initiatives
  • Generate reports and analyze model scenarios for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, automate, and communicate process improvements
  • Perform duties in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term goals
  • Respond to team requests, resolve conflicts, and maintain confidentiality
  • Build trust, adapt to different working styles, communicate status issues, and seek continuous feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management and/or related field
  • Actively pursuing license or registration: FINRA Series 65; or CFA; or CFP
  • 1+ year experience working in investment, data, or business analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using data management/analysis tools such as SQL or Excel preferred
  • Previous experience with various investment tools a plus (e.g. Bloomberg, Tamarac, etc)
  • Ability to apply probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, project management, judgment, discretion, adaptability, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • Ability to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer and office productivity machinery
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external actors
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to local and non-local clients; overnight travel may be required
