About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertake independent teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level
- Design, conduct, and moderate assessment
- Implement improvements informed by course evaluations and student feedback
- Undertake professional activities, scholarship, and high-quality research
- Manage individual research projects within timelines and budgets
- Ensure compliance with quality and reporting requirements
- Publish research results in high-quality journals as lead or co-author
- Prepare and submit external research funding applications
- Supervise higher degree research candidates
- Contribute to a research-based culture through individual and collaborative research
- Manage course amendment processes and course-related policies in liaison with RMIT Melbourne
- Contribute to program development and strategic direction setting
- Plan and develop courses, programs, and engagement activities collaboratively
- Assist the Senior Program Manager with administrative decisions and tasks when required
- Deliver courses across related programs as directed
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or equivalent Doctoral qualification in International Business or closely related areas
- Experience in preparing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Global Business, Global Corporate Responsibility, Cross Cultural Management, Global Trade Operations, and Political Economy of Global Business
- Experience with online delivery and creation of high-quality curriculum materials
- Ability to coordinate and develop courses
- Proven ability to work effectively with students, particularly on learning-related issues
- Established track record in quality research outputs contributing to program and School research areas
- Experience in supervising higher degree research candidates
- Proven ability to generate alternative funding projects through networking with colleagues, industry, and government
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Proven performance in student outcomes and experience, with skills in various teaching settings
- English proficiency: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5, or equivalent
